Wall street is about money, greed and human relations.An ambitious young man(Shia Labeouf) with a beautiful girlfriend earns a lot of money as a broker on the stock.He has a good mentor who hold the hand above his head.The father of his girlfriend ,Gekko(Michael Douglas), a man who, because pre-knowledge has been 8 years in jail.

After 8 years, the father is released and no one is waiting for him what makes him bitter.His daughter no longer speaks to him and his son committed suicide.Slowly, he fights back by including lecturing and writing books.By intrigue, the mentor of the young man breaks down and commits suicide, what shocked him.His mentor was the head of the bank where he worked and he then loses his job.He wants revenge.

At a lecture he meets Gekko and proposes him as the fiance of his daughter.In that conversation, he gets a tip about who did wrong to his mentor.He launched with the help of his colleagues a rumor making the competition loses millions.By doing so, he noticed by the boss of the competition which offers him a job.

And then the important question of the film is made.What is the amount you need to step out ? The anwer is more.Always more is what us kills and that is the message of the film.He also gives us a good picture of what this environment interact and what the values are.

What follows is a tale of intrigue involving ,where the father deceives even his own daughter.

But everything will be OK.And then the second message;Real wealth are people,we must again and again give them a chance.
